I went to see Dr. Kenneth virtually and I felt as if I was not valued as a patient. I was rushed and not given a proper examination. I felt as if Dr. Kenneth did not care about my well being and did not consider my situation as a doctor should. *note to Doctor Kenneth V Akey*, Don’t do virtual examinations if you don’t have the time to properly examine your patients.

I just took my 2 year old daughter to our first consultation with Dr Akey and left feeling so relieved that I FINALLY found the Dr. I've been looking for the past 2 years! He seemed genuinely interested and concerned about our family's well being and takes the approach of preventive care & getting to the root cause of an issue instead of just prescribing some pharmaceutical to cover the symptoms. I just wish he would have moved here sooner so I could have started my daughter out with him from day 1.

He and his staff are not only professional but were so friendly and me my daughter and I feel special and important. I have NEVER experienced such a fantastic bedside manner from a doctor. I was leery at first to take my daughter to a male practitioner; however, from the moment we met him we felt comfortable (my daughter is 15 and you know how picky teen girls can be). He not only performed his duty as a PD, but was so informative as to specific diet and supplements to take.

You're lucky if you get to see the doctor 5 minutes. It's a revolving door over there. Little personal attention. Doctor is good with kids however always seems very rushed and like his mind is elsewhere. Also, let's hope you never have to deal with his wife who is completely unprofessional, dramatic, and just not worth it. Check yelp stories, you'll see.

Our family has been seeing Dr. A key since 2003. We love his personal care and attention. He is very knowledgeable! My kids like going to the doctor! Highly recommend! I don't mind a short wait since I know he will take his time with me and my kids too.

Dr. Akey is an amazing pediatrician!!! My sons condition has required a great deal of time and research. Dr. Akey was the type of doctor who went the extra mile and more for my son. South Orange County is LUCKY to have him.

We love Dr. Akey, We are very fortunate to have Dr. Akey as our son Thomas' pediatrician, he is very caring with our son, talks about nutrition, and makes sure he is meeting his milestones. We are so happy he's back in Orange County, we've missed him and his exceptional care to his patients.

Dr. Akey is fantastic. So fantastic that lately we have been waiting upwards of 1.5 hours to see him. He is very caring, knowledgeable and high energy. I appreciate the fact that he cares for my sons total health including nutrition which gets over looked by other physicians. If you are looking for a great doctor Dr. Akey is it but you have to be willing to wait and wait to see him.

He is GREAT! My kids love him! He is the only doctor in his office which makes the visits very personal! He also personally follows up with your child if the child isnt feeling well. He's honest, and knowledgable... and he'll even pray for you. He's very caring!
