Dr. Kenneth Scott Etra, MD

I went to Dr Kenneth Etra for an ear issue and was put through many expensive and unnecessary tests and was diagnosed with an outer ear infection and given ear drops which i was allergic to. My intake form clearly stated allergic to sulfa but yet i was given a sulfa drug. I was then billed over $450 for these tests i was told were covered by insurance. I complained when i got the bill but decided to pay the over $380 in out of pocket charges but said the hearing test (which my internist does) was not required and i told them i didn’t want but they insisted it’s covered and to do it. I did but when the bill came i called the office. I agreed to pay everything but the $76 for the hearing test and was told by Danette in billing my account was settled in full. Now she won’t get on the phone and won’t speak to me about why i received the $76 bill she promised was removed. I am furious that i was lied to and had to go to other doctors to treat the illness from being given the wrong… medication and for the infection that was the reason i went in the first place.

Precise, thorough, very easy going and knowledgeable. Personally calls to review test results... Great staff too!

Don't bother with the twins. They are a waste of time. If they diagnosis you properly, which is not a given, they will give you an infection for an envasive procedure because they refuse to give an antiobiotic. The 2 keep you coming and going for at least 3 months and tell you, don't come back, there is nothing wrong. Basically they do not know what is wrong and they should admit their ignorance from the very start.
