I was very satisfied with my last visit. the medicine that was prescribed did work for a while

I have always received excellent care from this office.

Because the doctors in Salisbury, Maryland werenâ??t taking new patients I was referred to Dr. Kenneth Juddâ??s dermatology office in nearby Cambridge, Maryland. Although I didnâ??t see Dr. Judd I was very well taken care of by Edgar Peithman, PAC. The receptionist and nurse ensured that I was greeted and seen in a timely and mannerly fashion. I was advised on my condition by the doctor, a biopsy was taken and results from Johns Hopkins arrived. Dr. Peithman displays a compassionate bedside manner and obviously has great intelligence. I am comforted knowing that, should I have to see a dermatologist again, I would be in good hands.

The office staff is extremely disorganized, ignorant on what is needed for insurance processing. I received a number of calls from the office requesting documents that didn't exist. Instead of taking the time to read the documents that they require you to fill out, they would just rather call you a million times to ask you the same information that they have right in front of them. The funny thing is... the pathology clinic, who I didn't see, processed my insurance without one phone call or issue. I had to call back for my pathology report. I called on a Friday. The woman that answered the phone, said that they could not give out the report.(understandable) She told me that I needed to call back on Monday. Instead of taking a message for the doctor, she wanted me to call back, knowing that she was going to have to take a message on Monday. I know the doctor was not going to be sitting by the phone on Monday, waiting for my call. The office staff is not up to a standard that I… would have for my practice. The doctor had to call the assistant twice, and then had to go out and get her, so that they could do my procedure. As for the Doctor, I felt his was knowledgeable and did a good job, but I will not go back there based on the staff.

Dr. Judd is all but retired,practicing only one day a week. He has a PA C filling in the rest of the week, Edgar Peithman PA C. I feel very comfortable with both men. Dr. Judd doesn't mince words. He insists no cell phones when in the exam room. He gives you his undivided attention and expects the same courtesy in return. I was very impressed with Mr. Peithman's exam and explanation of all skin lesions he saw. He takes his time and explains as he goes along, quickly pointing out areas of concern. I appreciate his professional demeanor and pleasant personality. My husband and I will continue to see Edgar Peithman for our dermatological needs.

I drive an hour to see Dr Judd, instead of going to any of the derm right in my town. He is well worth it. I have a high risk for skin cancer and see him once a year. He always explains thoroughly what he is seeing on my skin and his concerns. Have had several spots removed, and happy with his care.
