Dr. Kenneth Arthur Thompson, DO

Communication within the office is terrible. No one ever seems to know what’s going on with my visits. Appointments are scheduled well in advance and then cancelled or rescheduled the day of without any notice. On two separate occasions I havne show up to the office they asked me to come back later, even though my scheduled appointment was at that time. Avoid the office of Dr. Thompson. It would be worth the time and money to drive all the way to Charlotte to see ANYONE else.

This doctor does not talk to the patient. He speaks directly into a recording device & does not answer the questions you pose to him. The bottom line was that I did not get any real help from him because he obviously does not know much. He also orders blood test which are not relevant to the problem I came to see him about. I went to another OBGYN soon after this & the doctor heard my symptoms & knew how to treat it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson for years. I was having some extended periods a few years back and a lot of pain in the lower abdomen.....after seeking the advice of several health care professionals, I cam to see Dr. Thompson who suggested a laproscopic vaginally assisted Hysterectomy and I have been pain free for years. The recovery time was 3 times quicker than the old fashioned procedure, less invasive and I was back at work in just 3 weeks. Upon leaving the hospital , i was given a prescription that was out of stock at the pharmacy. What happened next was truly remarkable. I called the office and spoke to the nurse, informed her of the situation and Dr. Thompson actually came to the pharmacy with his prescription pad to make sure I got what I needed. he also is a lighthearted man with a quirky way of dressing and loves to tell jokes. I would recommend him too anyone! Hope this was helpful!

He s professional and courteous. Very easy to speak to. He is genuinely interested in you and your problems. I really felt comfortable with him during a not so comfortable visit.

Rude staff, wrong diagnosis, put on wrong medication with side affects. Got a second opinion, immediately canceled all future appointments.

He was able to diagnose me properly with just two office visits after going to at least seven different doctors.He is caring and listens to your every word.He treats you with the utmost respect and makes you feel very comfortable in all embarrassing situations.I highly recommend Dr.Thompson he is the best .
