Dr. Kenneth Joseph Tomecki, MD

He is rude. I worked on campus and I wanted to quickly get a mole looked at so I got a same day with him. He looked for ten seconds and was ready to go out the door when I stopped him and asked if he could be more thorough. He was appalled and asked what more I wanted. An introduction would have been nice...

Dr. Tomecki was discourteous and dismissive. Initially, he exploded into the room exclaiming, "You didn't take your clothes off!" "Are you going to?!" I was there for an diagnosis of a lesion on my face. He refused to listen to the brief course of symptoms I wanted him to know about, insisting, "The only two things I need to do is look at the lesion and ask you when it started."

I wrote a review about Dr. Kenneth J. Tomecki in which I selected an overall rating of "poor". had I scrolled down far enough to see it, I would have chosen the rating of "bad".

My husband had seen him for years and went for a rapidly changing mole. After waiting for weeks to see him, the doctor said it needed to be biopsied but said he was "too busy". He then had his nurse make an appt with another doctor for 3 MONTHS LATER! We found another dermatologist who got him in the next day and removed it. Results came back today--melanoma, early stage. Wonder what it would have been in 3 months! Wonder how many others has he been willing to make an appt with but was too busy to treat......

He talked to me in a "baby Like manner". He barely looked at me, asked very few questions and seemed as though he had decided what my diagnosis was before exam. I would not recommed unless you are under 5 yrs old.

Been with him over 30 years. The best!

Horrific experience. Went in for a second opinion with black lines on my toenail and fingernails. He suggested these changes due to my age... suggested nail polish for my weak , breaking nails. Said he could not see the black lines on my fingernails - Ha his nurse could. Horrible expereince - demeaning and absolutely did not listen or ask meaningful questions. Vice Chairman - he should stick to the boardroom because he does not practice medicine or patient care. I was first seen at University Hospital and would reccomend this dermotology practice but steer clear of this man.
