Poor bedside manner told me I was being to emotional because I was crying in his office about my knee pain.

Did a great job on daughter's knee surgery. Good followup phone calls. Answered all questions understandably. Gave post-op video of the surgery to us for viewing at home.

I would never take my teen athletes to anyone other than Dr. Wertberger ever again. He did my son's first acl, meniscus surgery and will now be doing the other knee. We drive over an hour to his office because he is that good. He is down to earth and has even called us on a weekend. I can't say enough great things about him. I recommend him to every athlete with an injury.

Although office visits are brief, he follows-up with phone calls and emails very well. He takes the extra time to answer all your questions outside of the office visit.
