Dr. Kent Stephen Hjerpe, MD

I met Dr Hjerpe in the emergency room at JCMC. I had complications early in my pregnancy. Dr Hjerpe and his team admitted me and got everything under control. Healthily baby and one satisfied mommy can tell you this doctor is The Best.

Dr Hjerpe is the rudest, most unprofessional doctor i have ever met. I left the office in tears today after an appointment with him. Horrible bed side manners, rude, and talks terribly to his paitents. He has been reported to his administrator and i hope someone does something about his behavior, no one deserves to be treated or talked to the way i was today.

I have seen many gyn physicians the past few years, and Dr Hjerpe totally determined my diagnosis and created a conservative treatment plan for me. I did end up having exploratory surgery by him and his resident. They found exactly what was causing my problems and removed issue with adhesions, and I had minimal pain after day-surgery. I am very thankful for being symptom free for 5 months and so glad I found Dr Hjerpe. Thank you so much! I feel like a new person after suffering so long.

He was very rude. He refused to preform a breast exam on me. He called me fat and belittled me. I lost 150lbs by eating proper in less than two years. I only had 50lbs to go. That was all he would focus on.

Dr. Hjerpe gave our family exceptional prenatal care despite all my many health issues. I was sent to ETSU as high risk and have been very happy with the team and the L & D at Johnson City Medical Center. Dr Hjerpe went above and beyond to keep us fully informed of everything and answered all our questions. We have a perfectly healthy baby boy and are so thankful.

Dr. Hjerpe is an exceptional physician and has exceeded my expectations with the quality of care he provides. He is professional, knowledgeable and patient. He takes the extra time to answer questions. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.
