Staff is rude. Wait times are 30 minutes even if you are only seeing a nurse. Staff treats you like you are a piece of meat instead of a human

Dr. Snowden has been my doctor for 28 years, he delivered my daughter and he delivered my grandson. I moved but still drive an hour and a half for appointments. He is one of the last good doctors. My daughter will not go anywhere else either.

I was a patient of Dr. Colton's for more than 20 years and when he left he definitely said to go to Snowden. I dealt with a real ignorant person today and said forget it, I will not be coming to see Snowden. I will have my files transferred. Some of the people that work at these offices really think they are something.....

Do not get Essure for permanent sterilization!! It will ruin your life

I would like to say that this review is based mostly on the office staff not on the doctor or his nurse practitioner. I had phoned in on my way to notify the office we would be late. It was snowing and a tractor trailer had runoff the highway backing up traffic. When I called, they asked how late would it be. I told them 10-15 min. They never said you'll be the very last patient of the day they just said okay. When I arrived I realized I had left my insurance card at home. I was able to call my husband and get all the appropriate information. I also tried to have my husband fax a copy of the cards but the fax wasn't going through. The women at the front desk still did not say anything about being the last patient of the day. We even overheard the staff talking about other patients calling about being stuck in traffic. After an hour had passed I asked at the desk how much longer. The women at the desk said "a little longer" . When I told her my husband was finally able to get the… fax to go through she said they still had not received it. She told me "we'll we're just going to go ahead and see her( my daughter was the one in for the appointment)". She then proceeded to say VERY loudly into the waiting room "then your visit is going to be $200" . She did not call me to the window to tell me this. It was truly embarrassing ! Then she recanted and said "oh this is a mistake" nothing else. After 2 hours(my daughters appointment was at 1:30-it was now almost 3:30 I told the women at the front desk I had to step out to see patients of my own( I work at this hospital!) and would be back shortly. My daughter (by the way, this was her first visit to a gynecologist ) later told me that when they took her back they said " late appointments are seen after others" THIS WAS AFTER WE WAITED 2 HOURS". When we came out, no one was at the desk so if they wanted a copayment I wasn't able to pay. As we were leaving my daughter turned to me and asked,"mom who told you about this place?" I have worked as a therapist for over 20 years and I can honestly say I have NEVER treated anyone in the manner in which my daughter and I were treated today. Again this is not a review about the doctor himself but the office staff. Not sure if we will return after this experience.

Dr. Snowden is a wonderful physician. He has overseen the prenatal care of and delivered all 3 of my children, even after I moved to Illinois. I would prefer to make the 45 minute drive, even every week during the last month of pregnancy, than try to find another ob/gyn closer to me that I liked as much as him. He is a very kind, compassionate, and caring obstetrician. I have called the exchange during my pregnancies for various reasons, and he was always very reassuring and considerate to my concerns. Dr. Snowden is always genuine when I see him. When he asks how the family is or how I have been doing, he listens to the answer and really enjoys interacting with me and my family.

Dr. Snowden and his staff surpassed all expectations of any doctor's office i have been in. He delivered my four children and is current on all the latest surgical procedures. He is a kind gentle man!
