Dr. Kenty U Sian, MD

Clear Bait-and-Switch. They misinform patients over the phone to pocket a $200 fee. I am writing this review to warn future patients—particularly women of size—to protect your time, your heart, and your wallet before giving Fresno Plastic Surgery your money. Prior to booking a consultation for facial surgery, I was highly diligent. Knowing my personal physical stats, I explicitly called the front desk and asked if Dr. Sian enforced a strict BMI or weight cutoff. I stated that other facilities have strict limits, and I wanted to protect my time and money. The front desk staff explicitly assured me that he did not have any BMI or weight cutoff policy. Relying entirely on that administrative verification, I booked the appointment and paid a $200 fee. On May 20th, after making me wait nearly an hour past my scheduled appointment time, Dr. Sian entered the room and informed me within minutes that he would not consider performing surgery on me because my BMI was too high and he would only… feel comfortable if I was under a specific weight threshold. When I called out the contradiction and told him the front desk specifically assured me there was no cutoff, Dr. Sian gave me a dismissive, condescending response: *“Well, we don’t have a BMI cut off… but at some point… You know?”* Most shockingly, Dr. Sian then admitted to me, *“ I know it’s not what anyone wants to hear, a lot of times patients get upset and cry and leave.”* This admission proves that this office is fully aware of a systemic, recurring pattern where patients are routinely misinformed over the phone, induced into paying a non-refundable $200 fee for a procedure they are pre-determined to be ineligible for, and subjected to severe emotional distress in the exam room. When I sent a formal fax to the management requesting a refund due to this front-office misrepresentation, they scrambled to call me back the next day just to deny the refund over the phone. This is a classic corporate bait-and-switch. They collect your money under false pretenses and leave the doctor to hand out a diet lecture. I have officially escalated this transaction to my financial institution as a formal dispute for merchant misrepresentation. Save your $200, save your time, and go to a surgeon who practices transparent, patient-first care.

Rude.I told him I wanted a lip lift.He said it would leave a scar.I was aware of that.I told him about the research I did and the pictures I'd seen.I try to show him some pictures of what I would be happy with and what I wouldn't be happywith.He told me"I don't want to see pictures. I don't know what you want me to do for you.I told him I want to lip lift.That's why I'm here.I asked him if he did them because I was told that he did.He said yes.I asked him if he had pictures.He said"no."I asked him if he did these often.Like how many? 10? 100? He said "between 10 and 100."He asked me again,"what is it that you want me to do for you."So I pulled my lip up so he could see exactly what I was talking about.A lip lift! He told me I should wait for the lip fillers in my lips often.OK. I was all right with that.But still wait to decide if I still I wanted a lip lift.I asked him "is there anything else?"He said "you should lose some weight." $100 for that. I went home and cried.

Dr. Sian is extremely arrogant and offers no training to his staff. I worked for him a total of 5 days and he was already threatening to fire me. Dr. Sian has a button he will push when he wants you to come to him, he has no problem yelling at you or talking down to you in front of a patient. He fired someone on my first day and all the girls currently working there told me he has made them cry on several occasions. I was relieved when he dismissed me because shortly upon meeting him I realized I did not want to work for that type of person anyways. I know I'm a valuable employee and will find employment elsewhere but I feel bad for the girl's that are still working for Dr. Sian because I know that they are all miserable. Next time he loses his temper on someone it won't be me. If you are a medical assistant DO NOT APPLY TO WORK FOR DR. SIAN.

Now, it's been several years since Kenty Sian did a rhinoplasty for me, and I've held my tongue, but until this day, I have to speak out. I recently found a REVISION rhinoplasty surgeon to correct what Kenty Sian put me through several years ago. So, it's been a while and I had gone in for a simple rhinoplasty procedure; mind you, I never had a hump on my nose, yet after the procedure, there was a dent from the middle of the bridge where it felt like it was broken and not smooth. "Too much was taken out," said my revision rhinoplasty surgeon from Beverly Hills, CA. Also, cartilage was uneven on the tip and sides of my nose, and looked like I had an actual bump on my nose when I never did before surgery. Luckily, my revision surgeon corrected about 80%-90% of the "feel" of the bridge, and 100% of the shape of my nose including one nostril that Kenty Sian managed to cause it to collapse when I inhale deeply. I had to save up a lot of money to go out of town to correct something that he… never gave a crap about to even reply to an email several months later after the first procedure. Another thing, you should be ashamed to have lied one week post OP to tell me that the bridge uneveness and unsmoothness was"supposed to be that way"! In what world do you live in?! LOL

It has been 3 weeks since my breast reduction surgery. Can I just tell you what an amazing, wonderful surgeon Dr Sian is. I am so happy with the results. This is something that I thought about doing a decade ago and I'm so glad I did it. I can't thank you enough for changing my life, for the better. Dr. Sian was professional, patient, kind, caring, and he answered all of my questions thoroughly. I am truly blessed to have such an excellent surgeon.I will always be grateful to you. I've seen Dr. Sian for the last six months and have had several Juvederm fillers with botox on my face and never had any bruising. Extremely patient and precise in his work. Excellent Doctor!!! I've gone to many places in Fresno including Athenix and let me tell you Athenix is definitely not worth it!! It takes a great doctor to do great work!!!

Met with Dr. Sian today. Excellent doctor!! I had some fillers done and it was almost painless and he did a wonderful job. Not only that no bruising. I will definitely let my friends know where to go.

Dr.Sian just did a tummy tuck, muscle tightening and liposuction on me. He is an amazing surgeon! His bedside manner surpassed all my expectations. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease with my procedure. Along with answering all my questions and taking his time. I am truly so happy with his work! His great work didn't stop after my procedure, he has been available to answer all my questions since I have been home. I highly recommend him for any and all plastic surgery needs. He has also done my Botox and do a great job. He does it himself, not some Random nurse which was great. I can't say enough positive things! His nurses are also very helpful and comforting to be around. Overall A+!!!!!

Dr. Sian takes great pride in his plastics practice and is very professional. I found him to be easy to communicate with and he listened to my needs . I had surgery and I keloided and he helped revise the scar. I now have skin melanoma and will be needing his skilled hands to graft and remake a portion of my ear. I have faith in him. He is like an artist and very skilled plastic surgeon.

Dr. Sian appeared over booked waited 35 minutes before the dr ever came in to see me. After initially meeting him, asked me to undress for further examinarion and it was another 15 before he came back. he was very vague about the results i would get by performing the surgery. offered several options for payment, which is the only thing he seemed certain about. will not be having him perform my surgery.
