Dr. Kerri Shane Parks, MD

I took my mom and loved everything about this doctor. Too bad it seems from the website info, they are not accepting Medicare patients. Need to clarify and the office is closed today.

They let you wait one hour in the waiting room and one more in the room inside, while she's laughing loudly with other patients.

I just had a robotic assisted supracervical hysterectomy done by Dr. Parks. It has been a week and I am healing up just fine. I am a teacher and not a surgeon, so I can't judge a good surgery, but based on how I feel today, I would say that Dr. Parks did a fantastic job! She spent extra time during the surgery and I appreciated that. Dr. Parks is also very down to earth and easy to communicate with. I am glad to have found her after going through several other not so good gynos.

I have given birth to two kids under her care and I think she is an amazing doctor. She listens to what you want and doesn't interfere with unnecessary opinions. She is caring and takes ample time with patients, I think that's why the wait is a little long!

Basically, I was given an inaccurate due date, not told that I was anemic, and told that the child birth class that I was taking was (verbatim) "bullsh*t". I am now seeing someone else, thank God! I'm sure I would've been induced by now had I continued there. Find someone else...

I started with Dr. Tamayo as my ob with my 3rd pregnancy, but due to her little bundles of joy I ended up with Dr Kerri Parks. She was such an amazing blessing in the life of our family. Having had 2 previous very high risk pregnancies and 2 c-section, Dr. Parks followed up and followed thru on all that she suggested and recommended for my condition. At one point Shelly t(he ultrasound tech) in the office detected a mass in my daughters tummy while performing an ultrasound. I was immediately reffered over to children's hospital and was continually followed by them and Dr Parks staff. My little girl was delivered 5 weeks early and my c-section although a bit complicated, was the best delivery I have ever had!! Dr Parks is an amazing and strong woman! And even though her practice is very busy and sometimes you have to wait to see her, it's totally worth it! I can not imagine having had anyone else care for me and my little girl!
