Amazing birth experience

Would not set an appointment for me to discuss my situation further after extopic pregnancy. I had questions about what we were going to do next and if there was anything we could do about low profesterone (which she said was the likely cause of ectopic). All I was able to talk to was the nurse (which had no clue what was going on. I had to remind her.) After explaining my concerns (they were going to just do the same thing that was done prior to my pregnancy which ended up being extopic - wouldn't you want to change it if you know WHY it happened???) to the nurse, I was told that Dr. Tynes would contact me and she never did. I was very disappointed being that I had great expectations for her. I guess only certain people are of importance to her. Too bad I really liked her at first, but not addressing my concerns or even allowing me an appointment (bc I know she is busy and may not have time to just call patients whenever) was extemely rude. The office staff always made me feel… uncomfortable and unwelcome (reasons why I left my last obgyn - I tried ignoring it here bc Dr. Tynes was supposed to be amazing) I also went to ask a question for the nurse one day after having a procedure done in the main hospital and they were all doing each other's hair, spraying hairspray and whatnot. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me. Just a complete letdown bc I thought I finally found another great obgyn. (I had an amazing one but she moved out of state) I had really great faith in her, but she really let me down.

Best and most progressive OBGYN in Shreveport. Smart, knowledgeable, efficient and has great regaurd for patient autonomy. You can talk to her like a friend and not just like a doctor.

hands down the greatest doctor I have ever seen. she is amazing! I have never waited long at her office and she never made me feel like she was rushing through our appointments. I hope she delivers all of my future children. She is great!

While pregnant with my second pregnancy, that happened to be a twin pregnancy I decided to entrust Dr.Tynes with my care. I was actually referred to her my Dr. London at the Center For Fertility who strongly recommended her. I was looking to change OBs as my experience with my first pregnancy/delivery was less than desirable. I credit my twins making it to 36.5 weeks and coming home with me when I was discharged from to hospital to Dr. Tynes and her wonderful care. While pregnant with my twins I saw here sometimes 3 times a week and I always felt nothing but love, care and compassion radiating from her and her staff. There were times where I had to wait but there were times I was seen right away. When you are an OB you may have to immediately go and deliver a baby or go into emergency surgery for a patient and that is something a doctor and their staff cant control. I always felt at home and totally comfortable with Dr. Tynes and her staff and really really wish I could call on her and… be treated by her for all of my medical needs. I really love her to pieces and think she is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by.
