Dr. Kevin E Crutchfield, MD

A poor excuse for a doctor. He and his staff are rude and unprofessional. Not to mention he is a very poor diagnostician. I have been dealing with complications from injections he administered for something I didn't have, and now am far worse off than when I first started with him. His staff is also dangerous. After having a severe reaction to his treatment, I called his office numerous times to find out what I should do. I was told I would receive a call back in 24-48 hours. Three weeks later, I still hadn't received a call back. When I told Dr. Crutchfield, he said, "Well our receptionist was 'acting out,' and throwing away all the messages. But it's ok, because she's been fired." Really? He thinks it's ok that no one responds to the patients There is no interest or consideration for the patients in this practice. Dr. Crutchfield is mostly interested in talking about how great he is and as a result, doesn't hear anything the patient says. This man is dangerous and his license should… be taken away.

My daughter who's appointment it was and I drove from Rockville to Owings Mill. Based on our Apple Maps it went from being onetime at 9AM to being 45 minutes. We rerouted and were able to get the doctors office by 9:05AM. At 8:44AM we called to say we would be a few minutes late. When we did arrive at 9:05AM we were asked to fill out some digital forms and a questionnaire. Even thought this was a follow up appointment. At this point they asked us for a insurance card. I said all I have is a digital version and if I could email it to them. This is a accepted practice at all doctors offices and I have done this numerous times. The young lady said I must have a hard copy not a digital one. I asked for the form we filled out on the iPad so we could properly submit a hard copy as this was their practice. No sorry we only do this digitally. Hence my point was made. A young lady from the back appeared and said we could accept a email without a problem. 2 minutes later we are being… informed that we are late and can not be seen. I said our appointment was for 9AM and we called to say we would be a few minutes late as there was a massive accident on 795. No you had to be here 30 minutes prior for a follow up appointment. We never were told this nor given info as such. And if this was the case why have us sign on the Ipad digital releases and financial agreements to pay? WE asked to speak to the office administrator and did so in the privacy of a office. This request to speak in private was requested by myself. We explained the whole issue. Were told yes that is a little odd. A few minutes later she returned to say yes our appointment is cancelled as were late. Based on my understanding this was directed to them by the doctor in the back. So to have 2 1/2 hours wasted is a disappointment and with no remedy. Most of all the doctor had prescribed medications and not to have followup on so many drugs my daughter is taking is irresponsible of the doctor. My daughter is having serious medical issues and we were recommended to this doctor but we are surprised a doctors office has such disrespect for care of patients to cancel appointments.

I have had chronic headaches for two years since being involved in a car accident. Dr. Crutchfield is the first of many doctors to actually look for (and find) what is causing the headaches, not just throwing more medicine at them!
