Dr. Kevin M. Jackson, MD

This surgeon will have MRI results showing restriction fully flexed and fully extended. Will ignore evidence since, they lost copy of report. Will not listened to what you have to say. His notes will not reflect on what you describe.

I only met him once. He was very nice to me. I went to see him because of the good recommendations from other Veterans in the area. I am writing about his STAFF! I am a Retired Army Veteran, who now suffers from excruciating lower back pain. I spoke to a woman who asked me to physically bring in my recent readings from multiple exams, I started to tell her that I was upset with another staff member who told me that if my Veterans Hospital (Lovell) mailed this, it would take over a month for my Dr (Jackson) to receive this. Upon me telling this story… another woman come on the phone in a harsh tone and I.d. herself as a NURSE PRACTITIONER… she said: I don’t appreciate your tone. To my HORROR, I became silent . Then she hung up the phone. So this is my observation of Dr. Jackson’s staff. Do not expect any compassion or kindness from his staff at any level! They are like a gang! They are very paranoid and protect each other! Your TRUTH, means nothing to them!! As a REAL Army… Veteran, I was disgusted to hear a staff member lie about his service! How did I know? Real Veterans can deceiver B.S.!! And lastly… most of the staff that wears scrubs.. lie about their professional status!! So… if Dr. Jackson reads this. It’s not about you! I will never go back to see you because of your low life staff. You don’t deserve to be represented by staff that makes your hospital Northwestern look so INCOMPETENT!! Your staff darkens you bright light!

Please AVOID Dr. Kevin M. Jackson who practices in the Mokena and Palos! Terrible doctor! Horrible bedside manner! Very rude! Enters the room and doesn't shake your hand or barely acknowledge your existence. Talks down to you like he's better than you and doesn't listen. Very cold and didn't even help. All he recommended was acupuncture! Why did I even go there???

DR. Jackson spent time with me, answered all of my questions, reassured me and provided me with MANY treatment options outside of "just surgery".

I saw Dr. Jackson for an issue with my spine. My primary care doctor recommended Dr. Jackson for my specific issue. Dr. Jackson looked at my MRI and made recommendations about how to treat my problem non-surgically and surgically. I chose a non-surgical option and I appreciated that Dr. Jackson did not try to pressure me into having surgery. He spent about 15-20 minutes in the exam room and answered all of my questions. I had a few questions after the appointment and I was able to call the office and have those concerns addressed. A good experience all around.

I visited Dr. Jackson's office for a fairly common problem. Dr. Jackson offered me surgical options as well as non-surgical options. I liked the fact that he did not try to push surgery on me since I actually got better with the non-surgical option that he offered. Happy to see a doctor who is more concerned with patient care than making a buck.

I had Doctor Jackson as a surgeon, and I think he is by far the best I ever had.

This is hands down the worst doctor I have ever seen. My primary care physician referred me to him because the only thing that could help resolve the debilitating effects of my condition is, surgery. He offered no insight what so ever on my fairly common condition, and was unable to offer me any surgical options that could resolve my issue.
