Dr. Kevin Scott Winfield, MD

This man is an absolute moron. He makes inappropriate comments, does not know what he is talking about, and does not seem to really give two craps about his patients or what he is supposed to be doing for a living. My mother had a severe allergic reaction to a z pack he gave her and when she went back a week later he said it would have been fully out of her system by then. Incorrect. She went to a dermatologist that knew more than this "doctor." He has made multiple inappropriate comments to my mother at his clear lack of a social and love life and its sad and pathetic. Be professional and do your job if you are even capable to do so.

Only makes appointments one or two days ahead so you can always get in. has an efficient setup that helps things to go smoothly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Winifield for 7 years. He has always taken all the time needed to explain, listen and offer advice. There is never a rush. He works like a medical adviser, giving you the information you needed to make sound decisions about your health.

Makes appointments no more than one day ahead. We can always get in to see him when we need to. He is very attentive and is easy to understand.

I first started seeing Dr,. Winfield because I had changed jobs and my old doctor at Kelsey Seybold no longer accepted Aetna insurance and Dr. Winfield was close to my home. I have now been with the doctor for over two years and every time I go, I swear itâ??s the last. His staff is has a exasperating mixture of ineptitude and arrogance. This is to be expected since Dr. Winfield has the bedside manner of a Wall Street banker and the apparent self-indulgence ambition as well. He loves to brag about how he became a physician, then later gained his MBA and is now pursuing his law degree, almost as much as he enjoys complaining how stupid and lazy his patients are. All this is being relayed to a paying customer of his practice! I am not sure where Dr. Winfieldâ??s passion is directed but it obviously is not his patients.

I have been going to DR Winfield for several years. He and his staff have violatted the doctors code of ethics. His buisness model is that he and his staff treat the patients as enemies. He yelled at me for going to a medical clinic and my cardiologist instead of comming directly to him. The staff has always been discourtious except for his wife. I was told by the staff that I was not of high priority compared to the other activities that they must do in the office. The staff also treats presciption refill requests as low priority.Because of their foot dragging I have had to wait to go to my pharmacy at 10:00pm. When I told the staff of their tardiness causing this delay, I was told that it was the pharmacies fault. If I put in a request for a prescription one day early, they deny the request. The staff is composed of tatood persons worthy of freaks in a circus side show. A patient can't schedule an appointment except one day ahead of time . But after six months has elapsed, all… prescription requests to the pharmacy are denied because you haven't seen him. Under this system you would logically think that a patient could schedule an appointment six months ahead of time. But that violates his idiotic one day rule. I have been very uncomfortable with his patient is the enemy approach. I went to him because I felt awfull. He made fun of me like i was a slacker. But when the blood work came back, the results showed that my body was suffering from an infection. I went to another doctor for treatment. I am fed up with him and his staffs' nonsense and have changed doctors. I no longer want to be treated as the enemy.

Staff will not speak with you about test results, they mail all results. Let me on hold for 15 min. waiting to speak with nurse...

An appointment with this man is like going to visit with a friend who always is willing to spend as much time as he needs in order to help you with your problem. They don't make 'em like this any more.

Kevin has been my Doctor for 4 years now since I moved into this area. He LISTENS to my concerns and has had all the right answers that are right for me. The Nurse staff is also excellent! I would refer him to anyone!

Dr. Winfield is an excellent physician. He takes his time and listens to you and makes you feel like what you have to say is worthwhile. He has a great personality and is pretty humorous! I actually enjoy going to the doctor where I used to have dreaded it. I recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for an internist.
