Dr. Khalida Asif Anwar, MD

very rude and cruel!!!!! no sympathy for her patients what so ever. she would rather assume whats wrong rather than having any mri done, i went to see another dr for my chronic back pain and he was shocked i had no kind of imaging done!! she wanted to try and inject me with needles then had the nerve to try and say "well i cant just give you pain meds" when clearly tha'ts not what i was looking for, i was looking for someone to help me so that i could go back to some kind of normalcy . this dr has no bedside manner or any matters for that fact!!!! worst dr i have ever seen in my entire life!!! thank god i found a dr who actually did help me because i actually had a herniated disc that was pinching some nerves and she just tried to tell me it was just a muscle and maybe it was all in my head!! this person should not be in this profession if she does not want to help others in the medical field and also needs to learn some bedside manners and all other manners!!

Never have I experienced such a lack of care or concern from a doctor...

DR ANWAR HAS A TERRIBLE BED-SIDE MANNER. HER BEDSIDE MANNER IS COLD AND STERILE, DOESN'T LISTEN WELL TO PATIENT(S) and rushes thru office visit

Doctor Anwar questioned daughter's ehlers danlos diagnosis. She incorrectly insisted that the muscle relaxant that the primary doc had prescribed was addicting. She ordered x-rays, but she did not seem to know how to order them. The X-ray tech had to help her order the films. She had little affect and seemed terribly uncomfortable seeing patients at all. After 3 days, we have no word about what the x-rays show. Considering that Dr. Anwar threw out a broken vertebra as a source of pain, it seems like she would get back with results very quickly. Further, even before examining our daughter, she said she would probably have to quit sports--a hard pill to swallow for a girl who expects to compete in college.

She is very rough around the edges when you first meet her....no smile, no welcoming behavior. Her tone is harsh. There is no sympathy given when I needed it most. She is bossy and very judgmental and doesn't allow you to speaks....she speaks over you. I am confused...do I count pills or not count pills??? Her instructions are vague and she is not very thorough with her explanations. I felt very small for asking questions about my health!! I did not understand her explanation of my MRI. She referred me for an epidural injection and then to a surgeon. The surgeon disagreed with her TYPE of injection. It is a specific area I need the injection, not just in the disc. I am very unhappy and confused patient at NorthShore. I am in so much pain and feel unwelcomed. I feel like I am a burden more than a patient.

She is mean. When someone is in pain and desperate for help, you should try to help them and give them hope, not be bossy and mean and tell them you can't do anything for them and wash your hands of them.
