Dr. Khwaja Mujib Haque

I have read the previous reviews and felt the need to speak up. I was treated by Dr. Haque and I can tell you from personal experience that unless you present with a textbook case of illness he will treat you like a drug/attention seeking patient whether you are or not. Last year I had an allergic reaction to a highly specialized medication called Xolair. Dr. Haque knew nothing about the medication or its ability to cause an allergic reaction at any time during therapy not just at the initial dose. Consequently Dr. Haque treated me like I was crazy. He even asked me if my symptoms "were all in my head." He even ordered a Psych consult which I am happy to report I passed with flying colors. I never once asked for any pain medication and certainly was not attention seeking as I would rather be anywhere than in a hospital. Because of Dr. Haques preconceived notions I was not provided an appropriate standard of care until another hospitalist took over. My outpatient specialist (who… administerd the Xolair) was outraged when he learned of how I was treated by Dr. Haque. In my opinion Dr. Haque is burned out. Perhaps he has treated so many drug/attention seekers that he longer knows the difference. I can tell you that I am neither of the above and was treated just as badly.

We were very satisfied with Dr. Haque's care. I was admitted with chest pain and DR Haque admitted me from Emergency room. He fully explained the possible causes of my chest pain. He checked labs, ECG and ordered a nucelear stress test. Thank God all turned out to be good.

RN's in hospital love him. Very tough on drug-seeking people. Explained everything to my husband and I in a common everyday language. Does not talk down to patients. Very much loved by his patients

I work with Dr.Haque and he is an excellent Doctor..He know's what he's talking about..Very concerned about pt's welfair and what's good for the pt's..Some people write a bad review because they are either drug seeking or want a free stay @ the hospital..Dr. Haque had no tolerance for that behavior..Me and alot of other nurse's agree on that....He is one of our favorite Doc's because he doe's what right for the pt's....I would go to him and recommend him to my family but he is hospitalist only....Great Doctor..

DOCTOR HAS NO RESPECT FOR HIS PATIENTS. HIS GOAL IN ER IS TO SEND PATIENTS HOME RATHER TAKE TIME TO LISTEN TO WHAT THE PATIENT IS TRYING TO TELL THEM. HE IS VERY IGNORANT AND CONDESCENDING. THIS DOCTOR WAS READY TO SEND ME HOME WHEN THROUGH X-RAYS IT WAS CLEAR I HAD SOME MEDICAL ISSUES THAT NEEDED TO BE RECTIFIED.
