To put it simply, stay away from this office. They are extremely unprofessional and have no idea how to effectively communicate nuerofeedback to the patient. Dr. Barrus is completely separated from the process and could care less about you personally.

I wasn't given the necessary appointment info beforehand, but still charged me a no-show fee and refused to answer calls. h

Kim Barrus and his staff ONLY care about what they can get out of it and use you for, nothing else. RUN AWAY!

Firstly, Dr. Barrus and his staff are unprofessional, misleading and impersonal. I am shocked and appalled at the outrageous sum I am being asked to pay. At the time of testing, I was told by office staff, that the testing would be covered by my insurance. I was never told that I would be expected to pay any amount out of pocket, and if I had been aware of this, I would have declined the testing. I think it is extremely unethical and misleading to lie to a patient about the cost of the testing and surprise them with an invoice six months later. Secondly, I am disappointed with the level of service I received from Dr. Barrus’ office, and I discussed it with my therapist and she suggested that I file a malpractice complaint due to the unprofessional nature of Dr. Barrus’ business - each time I was scheduled for an appointment or testing, the staff were unprepared and there were delays in getting my testing completed and the final report is full of negligent errors, typos and… obvious copy-and-pasting from another patient’s report. In several places, the report says “he” instead of “she” and “him” instead of “her”. I am not a male, by birth or identity. I didn’t feel the need to pursue a malpractice complaint at the time, but I am going to look into doing so now.
