Dr. Kim Cheree Brooks, MD

Although Dr. Brooks seems like a kind person, she just isn't available for her patients. You cannot reach her unless you have an appointment. There's no after hours number and even calling to speak with her nurse will not get you anywhere. I was having an emergency situation. She tried a few different medications to help me, but they just made me worse. It seemed like it didn't matter to her or the staff. I was told I had to wait for the next appointment. At one appointment, she offered surgery, which was what I needed but then changed her mind and said let's just see what happens. At this point, and after 4 visits to the emergency room to try and get help because I couldn't get it from her, I had to find a new doctor. My new doctor cared and got me scheduled for surgery asap. The pathology report from my surgery revealed that surgery was the only solution to my issue. I'm so thankful that I was able to find a new doctor who cared and took care of me. I'd recommend you look… elsewhere if you need anything other than basic scheduled appointments.

She is an amazing dr and person. So caring and compassionate. I went to several other drs and never felt like we got anywhere. Dr. Brooks listened to me and addressed the problem right away. I highly recommend her!!!!!

I had Dr. Brooks when she was in Asheboro. She was so sweet,caring and explained everything that she was going to do. Also she did my very first Pap smear. She helped me get through the pain. She was one who loved to joke around but was very serious. Dr. Brooks I love you and miss you so much.

She seems to be a good person. However, she is not available if and when you need her for prescription questions. It takes 2-3 months to book an appointment. Office staff and nurses VERY rude, do not care about the patients, will not answer questions in a timely or courteous manner. I WOULD NOT recommend Dr. Brooks. When I really needed her, she was not there for me. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED.
