Dr. Kim Renea Feinstein, PhD

Warm, personal, emotionally compelling I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kim Feinstein. From the very first session, I felt completely seen, heard, and understood. She has an incredible way of making you feel safe while also gently challenging you to grow. Her guidance has helped me break patterns I have struggled with for years. What I appreciate most is that she doesn’t just listen, she gives you clear, effective tools that you can actually apply in your daily life. I’ve made more progress with her than I ever thought possible. If you are on the fence, don’t hesitate. Working with Dr. Feinstein is one of the best decisions you can make for yourself.

Dr. Feinstein seems very skilled in therapy situations involving weight loss issues; in trauma/ abuse/ domestic violence situations, her judgment and clinical skills were not effective- in fact, harmful. She encouraged our children’s therapist to stop seeing our children when abuse allegations were substantiated- a time when continuity of care is crucial, for the safety of children. End result, years of ineffective therapy with new therapists who did not collaborate with the children’s original therapist, ongoing trauma, PTSD, abuse, anxiety and depression, for our children and me. Her intentions seemed good, the impact of her judgment, not good. I do not recommend this therapist if you’re dealing with abuse or divorce.

I highly recommend Dr. Kim. She helped my daughter recover from an Eating Disorder. Now, I have my daughter back.
