Dr. Kim-Huong Thi Tran, MD

I saw Dr. Tran back in 2019 and thought she was great. It was just an annual checkup, but she listened to and answered all my questions and concerns. She seemed caring and the visit never felt rushed. I had some questions after the visit as well and she followed up with me quickly.

Dr. Tran started the appointment looking at my chart and reiterating why I was there. She took the time to explain what she believed to be the issue and what she was prescribing and why she chose it. At no time did I feel rushed. She was very caring and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Dr. Tran.

This woman needs her license taken away. She's a rotten monster who needs her license taken away immediately. She's a disgrace to all doctors everywhere. She works at 4950 Sunset Blvd. 90027 Don't EVER go see her. You have been warned.

This woman is part of a giant HMO "machine" who cares very little, if at ALL about your actual health problems, but instead, will robotically insist on having you go for tests such as mammograms & pap tests whether you need it or not, but did NOT refer me for a cancer screening for a cancer that RUNS IN MY FAMILY! She also posted, on the HMO's website, my "diagnoses" ACCORDING TO HER, after only having seen me ONCE & without ever having seen ANY OF PREVIOUS MEDICAL RECORDS! What she posted was INACCURATE at best as well as INCOMPLETE, leaving out some of my most serious issues or simply dismissing them altogether. She also got my prescriptions wrong more than once in both the amount AND the instructions for taking as well. I was told by her staff that I had to get my medical records, go thru them & fax the "relevant" parts to her office...it was CLOSING TIME, so OF COURSE they couldn't be expected to copy the records I HAD, right? *sarcasm* She also listed, on the website, regarding… my visit, that I hadn't provided a list of my current medications, which I had, to her nurse, & that VERY list, in the order I'd written it, was posted as the DOCTOR'S "recommendations" for me, tho she did add one other medicine that I DIDN'T need and also a prescription vitamin D2, (I'd listed that I took D2,) tho she'd also INSISTED that "your vitamin D levels are normal, (tho I knew they were on the low end & had gotten LOWER since 2009 when my last dr. had the test done tho I've been taking supplements ever since, which was what I TRIED to explain to this dr. as to WHY I felt it might be RELEVANT. But it made NO sense for her to have listed that I should be on PRESCRIPTION D2 when she told me my vitamin D was in normal range. If she was the last doctor on the planet, I know I'd have a better chance of taking care of my health on my own. And this was not anywhere NEAR the WORST of what she did to me......
