Dr. Kimberly Kweimei Lu, MD

I would never get surgery from a doctor with such poor bedside manner and rude front office staff. There are tons of surgeons out there that make you feel comfortable and reassured. Dr. Lu is not one of them. I do not want her bad energy to be doing any surgery.

Dr. Lu is everything you are looking for in a great doctor. I felt absolutely confident that I'm in good hands and my health is her priority. She examines you thoroughly and follows up during each appointment. I had a lot of questions about the safety and reconstruction options which I got all answered by Dr Lu with clarity, details and specificity to my case and situation. Some questions were coming back and Dr Lu was always providing the most thorough and realistic answer. I developed a level of trust in Dr. Lu that made it a lot easier to go thru mastectomy and reconstruction process. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Lu to anyone who is going thru reconstruction process

It is never easy to learn you have breast cancer, but dealing with it is so much easier if you are in the hands of a talented surgeon who has Yale, Harvard, and chief resident at UW hospital on her resume. Dr. Lu is truthful yet optimistic. She will give you realistic expectations and then deliver so much more. She took a lot of time with me from the initial decision making all the way through the final recovery. What was at first very frightening became kind of an interesting journey. She answers your questions completely, has plenty of literature and pictures to review. She called up pictures of a woman who's case was very much like mine, and after viewing her results I decided upon the same course. I am very happy I did. I feel great, I look good, and it is all pretty much behind me. I even had Dr. Lu remove some skin cancer on my face, and that scar was stitched so minutely no one can even see it! The office staff is very nice, friendly, and all together it always feels… like I am there to visit friends whenever I have an appointment. I wouldn't be kidding if I said I miss going to the doctor now that this is done. Thank you for reading.
