Dr. Kimberly A Fleischmann, PhD

"Dr" Fleischmann clearly thinks her degree gives her the right to judge someone without ever meeting them or even talking to them on the phone. I recently had an ER visit due to an adverse reaction and they lazily diagnosed me with a "panic attack". Seeing this, she came to the conclusion that I have no coping skills whatsoever (I have a fantastic set of coping skills I've gained in over 20 years of therapy) and that I'm unfit for her program. She then imposed a year's waiting time on me after I've already waited a full year - WITHOUT ever even talking to me. My adverse reaction was to marijuana, which I didn't take "to cope", but took in an effort to treat EXCRUCIATING chronic pain. I would like her to live with this pain and never even consider a drug MILLIONS use to treat pain successfully, despite the legality. This so called doctor decided, in her infinite wisdom, that I am completely mentally unstable - despite the fact that I care for my two elderly parents, and was able to… successfully end a 6 year abusive relationship with a narcissist, coming out completely confident, healthy, and sane. I manage my day to day life with mindfulness, empathy, and an open heart - only to be met with arrogance and complete and utter ignorance. Apparently she never learned that if I HAD had a panic attack (which I didn't in over a year), that would NOT have made me an unstable person. Thousands if not millions of people live with panic disorder and live full, healthy lives despite it. But she must have skipped that day in school. Shame on this doctor for abusing her power and privilege. If given the option, any other behavioural professional would be a better choice.
