Dr. Kinion Edward Whittington, DO

If I could give him 0 stars I would. In 2020 I got pregnant for the first time at 24 years old after trying for many years. My pregnancy was going great until close to the 14th week mark when I woke up gushing blood. I live about 45 mins from Durant and at the time we were in the middle of a snow storm so I had no choice but to go to my local hospital. All they could do was make sure I wasn’t dilating and baby was alive and doing great. They told me to follow up with dr Whittington so I did 2 days later once the roads were safe, our meeting felt very transactional. Didn’t give me an ultrasound and didn’t check my babies heart said it was completely normal (14w3d) and to go home. Took me off bed rest ect. A few days later (15w) I was cramping horribly, went into the office they did an ultrasound and said my placenta was detaching but it was “fixing itself”, go home and rest. I got home and my water broke. I’ll spare the very traumatic details but my beautiful son did not make it and… I almost didn’t either after being rushed to 2 diff hospitals by ambulance. At my check up a few days after he treated it like it was no big deal. Told me “it happens” and sent me on my way. Later found out through pathology I had a SCH that could have been treated had he actually checked when I came in the first time for the bleeding. Now almost 4 years later, I still have yet to successfully get pregnant. I miss my son so much everyday my bones physically ache. I hope you reap what you sow. You have ripped my entire life away from me.

I’ll start by saying that Dr. Whittington seems to be a good guy. However, his staff is TERRIBLE! LYING, DISHONEST, AND RUDE best describes the women working in this office. Personally I like the doctor but these outrageously rude women working in his office will keep our family from ever returning! I would NOT recommend this doctor.

Has been my OBGYN for 15 years. Has overseen every pregnancy and miscarriage I’ve had... and then some. Will never go to another.

Botched hysterectomy blood transfusion 4 days ICU

What a great doc, I really feel he understood what was going on. I feel much better and am very happy with his services I will be using him and sending my friends.

He doesn't spend enough time explaining - after an emergency surgery (ruptured mass on ovary) the Dr could not explain to my family what happened - actually I said "I don't know" them went on to say I could still be pregnant and to come back in one week for a pregnancy blood test. Then at the 1 week appointment - told me there was no way I could still be pregnant because it was etopic..but rushed me out without even answering my questions. He was a jerk during a very emotional and painful time.
