Dr. Kirsten Thompson, MD

Kristen Thompson, M.D. has extensive experience in working in multiple psychiatric settings, from independent private practice, to working at residential treatment centers, to working at Homeboy Industries, which (from their website) ‘provides hope, training, and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community.’ She started Remedy because she loves providing excellent patient care, and wanted to find a way to provide expert, personalized care that was accessible to everyone. Additionally, after ten years of seeing patients herself, she knows that each individual is complex, and the best care is given in a personalized way when every symptom is evaluated, and every medication is an available option for treatment.
