The worst! He needs to retire!

At first I fought the idea of going to a psychiatrist because I'd never been to one before and thought of it as a stigma. After suffering a bad work-related injury, and feeling totally depressed about my future about both my pain and work potential, I relented. When first meeting with Dr. Pandya and realizing he is from India, I was afraid he might not understand me well. But, due to my past self-education in Indian culture and religion, I decided to stay open-minded. I'm so glad I did. Dr. Pandya listens better than most American-born doctors. I had read many reviews on his sites that were so critical and I now realize it's only because they were looking for medications that he just didn't feel benefited the patient. This is a doctor who really cares about your well-being. I would highly recommend him for anyone who seriously wants to get better.

I had been a very satisfied patient of the doctor's, despite his rise receptionist. However , when I attempted to begin seeing Dr. Pansy's again, she refused to make an appointment for me and after numerous calls, she told me I cannot be seen again. Very rude. I wonder if the doctor knows how many patients she is turning away.

I went to Dr Pandya for a serious issues. He listened, treated me with providing a thorough understanding of what he was planning to do and what to expect. His staff was excellent, very kind and supportive. I came out feeling much better

I can't believe I couldn't mark 1/2 star! If I was at the end of my rope as to whether to jump of the tallest bridge, or see him, I would jump. This guy has one foot on a banana peel and one foot in an asylum. Do yourself a favor, find someone else.

I have multiple sclerosis and AM NOT on workers compensation. I had to put up with one very nasty and harsh receptionist. She seemed to know what was important, and what was not. I have major depression and anxiety. The doctor ordered anxiety medication that was not working (I was having adverse events from it). I called the receptionist, and she stated "he will not continue seeing you". On my insurance that meant that I would have to wait about 2 months to get another physician. Of course I have Humana Gold Medicare coverage, so it is no wonder I got the least of the crop in form of physician ethics. I was always appropriate, nice, and never rude to the staff. I simply wanted an appointment to talk to my doctor about the problems I was having with my medication, and that I needed something different. So to the person who wrote, NO, I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, Workmen's Comp or not. I'm now paying a 5 star for my treatment. Oh, and by the way I was a… nurse, so I know when I'm getting good medical oversight, and I DID NOT here.

it seems to me that all these reviews are done by the same person since they are complaining of workman comp and the fact that the doctor gave them MMI and send them back to work. I've seen this happen before, patients that don't want to work and just want money from Workmans comp.

Dr. Pandya is an unethical physician. If an appointment is missed for any reason, he will refuse to refill prescriptions. It does not matter if you are willing to reschedule the appointment--he will not refill anything before he sees you. If the drug he was refusing to refill didn't have severe withdrawals attached to it--it would be fine. Also, he has his receptionist answer all questions--he will not speak with the client. His recommendation was to go to the emergency room if he needed the pills--with no care that an ER visit costs over 1000 dollars. I cannot say enough negative things about this man. He is out of the office most of the time--and he doesn't inform the answering service of his movements--or when he will get back. Ultimately, it is clear that the mental health of the patient is not important to him--missed appointment? Oh well, guess you're going to have to find a new doctor--I can't help you--have fun with withdrawals! I wonder if he even knows what happens when… someone stops taking klonopin cold turkey--if they have been taking it for years. Please do not see this "Doctor," you will regret it.

Was sent to Dr. Pandya by an Insurance Carrier. His staff said he was ready to treat me prior to any testing or any evaluation! All he cared about was getting paid by Workers Compensation, not myself as the patient. He recommended a treatment plan that if followed would have resulted in my death, due to medication allergies. I filed a complaint with the AMA as a result.
