Dr. Kris Catherine Kealey, MD

Dr. Kealey is an outstanding internist. She is moving to One Medical in Burlingame in August and I will be following her. She cured a problem I had lived with for 15 years!

One of the best doctors around. The waiting and appointment time is worth the delay. She is very through and spends lot of time with her patients. She knows her craft. She is very up to date with current meds and new procedures. She is one step above the rest. Thank for your caring and diligence.

My aunt just died yesterday, Wednesday. She was suffering from sudden memory loss. Dr. Kealey had told her that if it was emergency to come in and she would see her. So we did bring my Aunt in on Monday morning. It was quite a difficult endeavor for my aunt to even make this journey. But she was relying on what Dr. Kealey had said to her and was anticipating that if she made the effort, Dr. Kealey would see her. The front receptionist was not friendly and did not believe what we had been told. Apparently she checked with Dr. Kealey and came back to us and said Dr. Kealey would not see her. That we should go to the emergency room. We did go to the emergency room and my aunt was sent home after an examination. If Dr. Kealey had taken the time to see and examine my aunt, she might have put her in the hospital. She is my aunt's doctor and knows her condition well. I am sorry that Dr. Kealey was so insensitive to turn my aunt away. My aunt died two days after Dr. Kealey… refused to see her.

Dr. Kris Kealey is excellent. She takes the time to listen, gets the tests in/results. But her office administrative staff needs to improve - their office structure is antiquated. needs a new office manager. The nurses are very good.

I would not choose this Dr. ever again. Would not recommend family members or friend not even to my worst enemy. If you are a Dr. you should have compassion and understanding with the patient no matter what age group you are you would try to help understand the pain they are going through and help solve the problem rather then send you home with no solution.

I first saw Dr.Kealey at Seton tending to another patient and I thought I would like to have her as my doctor, little did I know I had an appointment with her the next day. I love Dr Kealey, she has seen me through everything for the past 10 years and there is no one else I trust to guide me through healthcare

Can't tell you how the doctor actually was... I arrived 15 minutes early for my first appt as requested. An hour and a half later, no doctor in sight, I rescheduled and left. The staff at least could have said something to the effect of "The doctor is running very late today. Would you like to reschedule?" Or maybe have apologized when I asked to reschedule? A token sorry? I'd have been happy even with a lame explanation... We'll see what happens next time.
