This physician exhibited a shocking lack of due diligence and professional responsibility. For two weeks, we repeatedly asked if a CT scan or MRI could be performed due to my mother’s worsening pain. Instead of ordering appropriate diagnostic imaging, the doctor continued to dismiss our concerns and advised her to persist with pain management and physical therapy. After two months of unrelenting pain, it was only when we went to a different hospital that both a CT scan and MRI were finally performed — revealing a spinal infection that, if left untreated, could have resulted in permanent paralysis. This negligence is absolutely unacceptable. A comprehensive investigation into this doctor’s conduct is essential, and a review of their medical license should be strongly considered to prevent further harm to other patients.
