Kristin L Atkins, MD

Dr. Kristin Atkins specializes in obstetrics and gynecology with advanced training in maternal and fetal medicine. She earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she also completed her residency in 2003. Dr. Atkins further enhanced her expertise through a fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis in 2006, bringing over two decades of experience to her practice. She holds certification in obstetrics and gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and provides care in English.

Dr. Atkins practices at multiple locations throughout Charlottesville, Virginia, including the UVA Health Maternal and Fetal Medicine Clinic, UVA Health University Medical Center, and UVA Health University Physicians for Women Northridge. She maintains an affiliation with Howard University Hospital. Her clinical focus includes managing high-risk pregnancies and supporting women who become pregnant after age 30.
