Hospital charges 13,000 USD for a simple MRI procedure, however, they can't hire right nurses. We went to COVID testing, and unfortunately nurses taking COVID test did not know what they are doing. They were like digging gold inside a nose. The nurse put that sampler insider a nose once, and said that she did not get sample and started digging even further until my daughter started bleeding and crying. Only after they got blood samples in the nose, they quit digging the nose. My daughter was crying with pain. We have taken 2 same COVID tests previously in Harris County facilities and never had such issues. Hospital nurses need to get proper training for taking samples from kids. It looks like they have been instructed to dig until nose bleeds. Client acceptance is also horrible, as they can't provide proper estimate for a simple MRI. You have to make 10 calls before you can sort out insurance matter. I told them several times in the past that they are not giving an estimate… for a brain or heart surgery, it is a simple brain MRI, however, they failed to correct their procedures. That means they don't care about your kids. Try to stay away from this hospital, as all they care is your insurance money and they don't care about patient's problems.
