Dr. Kristin Maura Levitan, MD

Dr Levitan never returns calls and her voicemail is always full. I have ask for a receipt so I can send to insurance company for reimbursement for over 3 months. Still nothing. Good thing my child is not in crisis! I would not recommend her

Very professional, knowledgeable and at the same time compassionate.

My problems were very challenging, and I felt that Dr. Levitan was very helpful from the first visit. I was very apprehensive about seeing a psychiatrist, but she made my appointment much easier than I expected it to be. I am still working with her, both with counseling and meds. I'm seeing progress in a very short time.

I really liked Dr. Levitan. She listened and understood well, brought up helpful ideas in a non-critical way, came up with a solid, conservative approach to starting medication, gave me a break on the cost since it was out-of-pocket for me, and had a good follow-up plan. Would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Levitan has helped me for many years. Sometimes I iwll need help for a while and don't see her for a few years. When I return it it usually due to a life crisis and need help getting back on track. She always knows how to listen with genuine care and compassion while offering practical direction. She does not forget the things I have shared so it makes it easier to progress and resolve life's difficult challenges. I recommend Dr. Levitan very highly

I almost died due to the negligence if this doctor. Do not stay with this doctor.

I am so glad I found this doctor. I went through a few psychiatrists before finding Dr. Levitan. And even though she worked in a city that was a bit of a drive from where I lived and worked, I stayed with her, because I really liked her way of working with patients. She is a very real and caring doctor.
