Be cautious. She sounds great and professional over the phone but she has no work ethic and makes excuses constantly as to why she has not completed things or is late with documentation. She drags people along, tells them what they want to hear, and in the end does nothing. It was always something in her life for an excuse and in 3 years with all the documentation I gave she did not produce any documents for me to provide to the courts or her ability to testify either.

My partners and I utilize Dr. Tolbert's expertise for our more complex and challenging child custody cases. She is a strong expert witness but even more beneficial, in my opinion, when we are able to retain her as a behind the scene consultant. Her cost is similar to one of our associates hourly rate, so it is only feasible if the client has the resources to add her to your team. She is easy to work with and tends to think outside the box in creative ways that get the job done.
