Dr. Krystol Johnston Orourke, MD

Dr. O'Rourke is the absolute best. She is deeply concerned for her patients and she does the most important thing, she listens and treats her patients like they are more than just a number. She is incredibly knowledgeable and will always thoroughly research your issues.

I chose Dr. O'Rourke because she had SO many happy patients that came to our pharmacy. She exceeds exceptions as a doctor. I love her!!

I have been a patient of Dr. O'Rourke for 7 years and I want to say she is the BEST Dr. in the area as far as I am concerned. From the time you get there her receptionist (also named Crystal) is polite and always has a big smile when I sign in. She address me by name and just to be clear I probably am seen in the office 2-3 times a year so it is not like I am a frequent flyer. My wait time after I sign in has NEVER been more than 5-10 minutes. And once I am back in the exam room only one time in 7 years was my wait more than 10-15 minutes. Her nurse Kathy is also a delight and is always courteous. When Dr. O'Rourke comes in she always gives me her full attention she has no file in her hand and she spends time asking questions and listening to whatever it is that ails me at that moment. It impresses me most that when Dr. O'Rourke comes in she never has ANYTHING in her hands, no file, no computer and she gives her patients her full attention. As I started this review by saying… I have been a patient of Dr. O'Rourke for 7 years and I feel valued by her as a patient!

This practice is awful. A few months ago I was looking for a primary care physician in the area. Unfortunately, I decide to go to SW. The from desk staff is terrible with patients. They do not relay the correct messages to the physicians nor do they cooperate with pharmacists. I ran out of refills for my birth control pills. Apparently Dr. O'Rourke only gave me three refills on my Sprintec birth control because I would be "going to see an OBGYN to get an IUD inserted!" THIS WAS NOT TRUE. I never told her that I would be having that procedure done and now I am left without my monthly birth control pills. I tried to contact the office on a Monday morning and someone from the front desk said that I could not be helped until Dr. O'Rourke returned the following day, making me two days late for my birth control. I asked if anything else could be done and they lady said she would see. I had to ask if I would receive a call back on that day to be kept up to date. She never called me back.… Please do not waste you time or co-pay at this practice! It's not worth it.

My first visit was crazy.The girl at the front desk,Who ever she is was very rude.No one was helpful at all!!!Sat in the doctor office for 45 minutes.They did not want to deal with me at all.I had to leave a $100.00 deposit just in case my insurance didn't pay ,I was not told that before hand.Did not feel comfortble at all.I never did she a doctor.So i just got up and got $75.00 of the $100.00 and left.Went back to my old doctor out of network for my insurance.I will pay more money to be treated nice.

I have been seen at this clinic for over 3 years. I have a chronic illness ,and am seen frequently. I never miss an appointment. I arrive on time. My insurance ,and copays are current. I follow Doctors orders ect . I am a "good patient".( not that good patient should factor in) Unfortunaetly , the practice does not keep up there end of the service. When it comes to filling out Important documents for my prescriptions , I have experienced inconsideration and disregard. It took 5 days to get e pre-approval completed and processed. The office manager was rude, not helpful. She stated [I put the paperwork on the doctors desk and it's out of my hands]. It is really disheartening that the staff have very little, if no regard for the clients (my) wellbeing . The clinic staff, including the MD's need to improve customer service.

Been seen there for over 2 years. When it comes to diagnosing and filling out Important Documents for my Employer, I received nothing but a run around and walls. This was for year # one then year # 2 for the exact same. I don't know what her problem is. All my medical information was there. I guess it was to much to review... I had to leave the clinic, it only caused my anxiety and worsened my current illness. This is really sad that an MD is not willing to work the patient (me) I would not recommend anyone to this clinic. I am very disappointed.

The office sees patients promptly and they have appointments when I need them. Everyone in the office is very friendly. Dr. O'Rourke is very patient and gives sound medical advice. She doesn't run a lot of tests to markup the visit. She does what she thinks needs to be done; and I appreciate that about her office. In an area where mark-ups, unneccesary tests, and treating patients like cattle is the norm, she reminds us how a doctor should treat patients.
