Not a pleasant experience at all

I came in to Medsstar DC prompt care with a bad rash and had concerns that it may be shingles. This doctor BARELY examined my rash and was extremely dismissive when i asked if it could be shingles. He said I was too young. I told him my sister had it and she was in her 30s. He offered no other possible diagnosis. He prescribed a cream that didnt work. I was so upset and thankfully was able to see a PCP doctor, who diagnosed it as shingles. At that point i had rhe rash for 7 days. You're supposed to receive antiviral treatment within 3 days. Thanks for nothing doctor.

He took his time and did not appear to be rushing. He really seemed to care.
