Dr. Kurtis Charles Birusingh, MD

No one likes to hear the word cancer, but Dr. Birusingh was patient with this patient, humorous, and kind. He performed a difficult a thyroidectomy which necessitated the removal of a tumor pushing on my vocal cord. He preserved my voice (I teach) and the faint remaining scars look like natural neck creases. I will always be grateful for his skill and sensitivity.

Dr. Birusingh is exceptional in his demeanor with patients while attending to the patient's need to know of his or her condition and of treatment options. He genuinely anticipates this need, and is informative, detailed, and reassuring when providing data driven perspectives. He treated myself and my daughter for conditions that include an acoustic neuroma and a thyroid nodule, respectively, the latter which he and another surgeon completed a rightside thyrioidectomy without threat to my daughter's vocal nerve. Grateful for his expertise, precision, and mentoring of other surgeons.
