I went in with a narrowing of the colon and a partial obstruction. Dr Burns recommended Massage Therapy. I was very surprised when it worked. My wife spent about four months massaging my bowels. Now, no problem.

I recently had colon cancer surgery performed by Dr. Burns. He is both professional and relatable. He explained the procedure in terms I understood and didn’t mix words. It was like talking to my brother, he made me feel at ease with my diagnosis and treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Burns to family and friends. He knows his business. And his PA, Barry, is super cool too.

Dr. Burns essentially saved my life and has the best bedside manner! I recommend him to anyone in my life needing colorectal surgery. He is professional, caring, and an extremely talented doctor. He works in an unpredictable field and I'm sure doing surgery every day on very complex cases is not easy but I always felt that he was attentive and committed to my care.

I went to him as someone referred me to him from Conway only because of Conway Dr not caring or looking into the symptoms I had and only exacerbating it by everyone doing your test and preps and kept blowing up my call in and tell it's absolutely destroyed and Dr Lance Burns. now I'm at UAMS as an inpatient trying to save my wife as I write this

Seemed very interested in helping me in the hospital til he found out I only had Medicare so apparently he doesn't "care":(

Probably an okay surgeon if nothing goes wrong, but if it does (and it did in my case) he won't be of much help. NO follow up to resolve issues - said he would take certain actions to find a resolution but never followed through.
