Dr. Landon J. Duyka, MD

Dr. Landon Duyka, MD is very rude, rushed, lack of empathy, not listening what I was saying, simply ruled off the issue and saying, "there is no issue, you are thinking too much when there is no issue at all".

Dr. Duyka is very thorough, kind and skilled. He was able to fix my nasal passages and I have been breathing clearly for 2years!

I went in for a second opinion on hearing loss in one ear, and brought in with me the test from the first doctor indicating the hearing loss. He looked at the results, looked in my ear for three seconds and told me he could not help my ear because I did not have a problem. I questioned him on it, pointing at the test results and telling him my hearing in that ear was still down, but he repeated there was nothing he could do for that ear. Then he told me I'd be eligible for hearing aids in both ears... but my issue was with one! He charged me $330 for the visit, which lasted all of 5 minutes, and gained me zero additional insight into my problem.

First appointment went extremely well and confident he can help. I will admit that the first 30-45 second or so, Dr. Duyka came in and listed off a variety of things based on the information I provided via MyChart, but his bedside manner quickly changed to warm and he listened to what I had to say. I didn't see these reviews until afterwards, but I had a good experience, Yes, I was cut-off once or twice, but that was okay with me, as I am known to do that to others. I left with four options to work on my issue, two follow ups, etc. I very much look forward to working with him in the future!

Don’t go. He will not help you

I would leave zero stars if it were an option. My experience with Dr. Duyka was the worst care provider experience I've ever had. I would describe him as aggressive, abrasive and dismissive. Albeit a relatively minor issue, he showed a complete lack of compassion for the issue I was experiencing and the pain it had caused me over the last several days. He seem hurried and in a rush to get me out of the room. He did not clearly explain the issue or how to handle it -- and I left the exam with more questions than I entered with. To my complete embarrassment, I started crying in the room because of his attitude toward me and he continued to act abrasively toward me. I have never reviewed a care provider before, but this experience has led me to go out of my way to do so. If you're considering an appointment with Dr. Duyka, I'd strongly encourage you to look for another physician.

Duyka was difficult to work with. I felt that he was rushing to get me out the door from the moment he walked into the room and wasn't listening when I tried share what was going on with me. He was rude for the 5 whole minutes I was face to face with him.

Recovering from septoplasty and very pleased with the services provided by Dr. Duyka. I can finally breathe! Would recommend him to anyone. A terrific experience!
