Dr. Larry Merrell Parker, MD

Wait was alittle longer than expected. But I was in alot of pain too. The nurses was just ok not over friendly. Dr. Parker made me feel very uncomfortable because of how he reacted to me being on oxygen and in a wheelchair. I was on oxygen because I had a hysterectomy and got septic with pneumonia. I had to bring oxygen home with me. My lungs was damaged bad with covid I fought 22 days for my life. My back is messed up with more than one thing. I need both knee replaced that has alot to do with me being in a wheelchair. In the last 5 years I have lost 255 pounds. Yes I'm 62 put I don't plan on living my life in a wheelchair. But I can't do the surgeries I need to get me out of the chair. I have got to have that dr that believes in me and I believe in him. I'm not sure Dr. Parker is the one. Sad thing is I used my last visit at his office for the year on my insurance. So things may have to be put on hold till January. I hope this helps someone in deciding who to pick for your surgery.… Make sure you believe in him and he believes in you. Prayers and love for everyone.

Met with Dr. Parker for back, gave back some excellent information and advice to help me. Dealing with lower back pain that really affects me for some time, he has given advice on how to help me with it.

He was good at his job but his bedside manner is lacking. Very dismissive of what you are saying about your symptoms.

Had my first appointment today. My wait time was very short, the staff was friendly. Dr.Parker was thorough, kind and very professional.

I came in today for a follow up with Dr. Parker, but I am writing this as an assessment of all of my visits with Dr. Parker. From the first visit, through my surgery, and even at my follow up, he has been knowledgeable, professional, and very informative to me throughout the process. I am absolutely pain-free compared to where I was when I first came to him I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is experiencing neck or pain radiating down the arm.
