I have been a patient of Dr Puls for 16 years. He is excellent, patient, caring and extremely versed on the cancers he deals with. I trusted him with guiding me through my cancer journey and he has been informative, kind and beside me all the way! I give him a 5 out of 5! Go to him!

Calm. Professional. Expert. Dr. Puls is empowered to heal. As his patient for now 5 years, I’ve gladly traveled 5 hours one-way for each visit. And I will continue to do so for the rest of my life. I would not have had the courage or the will to battle my cancer without him.

Dr Puls is the most kind and caring doctor that I have ever met. I was older and expecting my third child and had genetic testing done. During that appointment something abnormal was found and two weeks later he and Dr Hunter gave me the bad news. They were so compassionate. Dr Puls performed surgery for ovarian cancer at 15 weeks into my pregnancy and was able to save my son. When he was 8 weeks old Dr Puls performed another surgery and 18 years later I am still here. Thank you Dr. Puls, you are a wonderful doctor and a kind man

My mother lost her fight with cancer one year ago today. She was in the hospital for several days as a result to a new chemotherapy suggested by Dr. Puls. This was her 2nd round of the new therapy, therefore the 2nd trip to the hospital, but Dr. Puls never admitted to the mistake. We did not know why she was so sick until an ICU physician informed us that her illness was a direct result of the chemotherapy. My 85 year old father slept in the ICU waiting room, mother was never without family, but Dr. Puls never came to talk with us. We requested a meeting in a room, so that my father could hear. Dr. Puls did come the next day to meet with us, but we stood in the hallway. He told us very little. Sitting at the hospital allowed me many hours to research the problem, and I had come to the conclusion that my mother was dying. Finally, I asked Dr. Puls, "Is my mother lying in there dying?" His reply, "We are all dying." We never saw/heard from him again. Need I say more?

Extremely pleasant and professional. Inspired trust and confidence in his skills. Non-intimidating. Kind. Felt I could ask questions which may have been uncomfortable to ask with a less open physician. Questions answered thoroughly and in a totally professional manner.

Dr. Puls did my hysterectomy 5 years ago and when I had a problem from another source (I thought it had to do with the hysterectomy, but it didn't), he saw me, anyway, after all that time. He was very caring and referred me immediately to the proper physician. He is an excellent surgeon and a very good man.
