Dr. Latania Michelle Akers-White, MD

Initially I was provided with a cost for the procedure then when payment was due, additional fees was added (first red flag) but I still continued with the procedure. Prior to the procedure, I was not informed about after care and had to contact them several times to even confirm pre op appointments, which they have contacted me. Before the procedure was being done I was told to just drink four bottles of water and watch my eating. However, after someone gets liposuction there is so much more care than just that. The weeks following the surgery I kept expressing my concerns about the procedure and the results. During my Last visit the doctor stated “I’m not doing this and walked out of the room.” As a medical provider, how does a provider ignore the concerns of the patient. It was a waste of money and I would never recommend anyone to her.

Her office made good and fixed the terrible billing mistake they made. She is a good doctor.

Excellent service, this doctor is professional and caring. She is the best hands down!

I WILL NOT GO BACK! EVERYTIME I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT... 99% OF THE TIME IT GET'S RESCHEDULED! I TOOK OFF WHEN I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPT ...THEY NEEDED RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT AGAIN! WHEN I DO TRY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT THE LADY AT THE FRONT NEVERRRR WANTS TO WORK WITH ME OR EVEN OFFERS TO ASK THE DOCTOR IF A TIME WOULD WORK...THE NURSE THAT USUALLY TAKES YOU BACK IS AWESOME! SHE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP! THE DOCTOR IS NICE...BUT I CAN HARDLY EVER SEE HER. IM DONE!

Dr. Akers-White was very helpful. She made sure I understood everything i needed to do before she left the room. I will recommend her to anyone.

I had more medical knowledge than she did. I waited 1 hour after the nurse said it would be 5-10 minutes. Dr. Akers-White had no personality. She was more interested in her cell phone, than treating me.
