Dr. Laura Joan Arigo, MD

If you are looking for a caring, compassionate Dr who truly cares for their patients and has a great bedside manner I would NOT recommend Dr Arigo. She has zero interest in patient history or current medical problems and is more concerned with her Dinner plans than patient care. I left my visit with her in tears. One of the most heartless Drs I have ever encountered. And I've encountered some pretty sorry Drs.

Dr. Arigo is the most kind, caring medical professional I’ve ever encountered. She was exactly the support I needed in the delivery room and was a champion for me, my baby and my birth plan and went above and beyond to assist with bringing my baby into the world as closely to my birth plan as possible despite difficult circumstances. I am forever grateful to her and the entire labor and delivery team at lake norman regional medical center who all worked together to help me achieve a beautiful, rewarding birth experience.

The worst GYN care l have ever experienced, first visit I was left to tears because she knew everything was fine with me before she laid a finger on me or did any clinical testing! The degree on the wall said a bachelor's degree, and the hospital socks used to cover the feet on the examining table was filthy! And her service was a joke to say the least! Kept saying all l can do is tell the truth! Not knowing l'm gifted enough to see she spoke to my previous GYN who had already formed his opinions into her head! I was so upset, imagine having serious health symptoms and having a doctor tell you it's all in your head because their college told them!. I now understand why black people warned me about most doctor's in this neighborhood..All know each other, kids, Family, and definately, treat or Choose NOT to treat on the BUDDY SYSTEM! I would not have given her one ?? but l simply could not leave a review without a rating! I will not be going back to ANY GYN here in Mooresville!

She was extremely sweet at first but when I asked for a doctors note to prove I had had surgery for work she didn't want to. She was very rude and went on vacation soon after my surgery and I had to wait about a week and a half to be seen by her. I asked her why I was still hurting a lot and she said I just needed to deal with the pain without and refills on my pain medication. Very upset on how she went from being extremely nice to extremely rude.

I drove two hours every two weeks to see her through my pregnancy, and continue to do so whenever I need to see a Dr. 'Nuff said!

Dr. Arigo is the best doctor ever! I was so nervous to change gynecologists but this wonderful woman was so easygoing and down to earth, I felt like I was talking to a friend. She came highly recommended by several of my neighbors, and I was not disappointed. Now my mother, sister, and daughters are her patients too. We all love her!
