Dr. Laura Dakovich

The bowel prep was $80. I was up at 3 am to take the 2nd bottle. The arrival time for the colonoscopy was 7 am; I waited over 1 hour for my name to be called. As instructed I had a printout of all the medical procedures, family history and meds. The intake nurse ignored this printout at first and asked me to supply her with this information. Much of the info was also given at check in. Told the nurse twice not to take Blood Pressure on left arm due to a masectomy. Finally she used the right arm. Nurse could not find a vein for the I V. She called someone else in to try. Dr. Dakovich indicated that a med I have been taking for years might be the cause of the colitis. She told me to ask my g.p. I suggested she (Dakovich) check into this med as she was the expert in colon issues. Finally around 9 am the procedure began. Guess it was a very busy day. Three weeks later I went in for a follow-up appointment with a physician assistant. With the 2 colonoscopies with Dakovich, I… have never had an office with her. Also Dakovich perscribed a med for the gut irritation but failed to notify me that I was suppose to pick this med up. My pharmacy did so, however.
