Dr. Laura Jeanne Lester, MD

Dr. Laura Lester is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship-Trained Dermatopathologist in Cedar Park, Texas. Dr. Lester specializes in dermatopathology (the study of cutaneous diseases at a microscopic and molecular level) and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Lester’s interests include all types of skin rashes such as eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis. Dr. Lester is a native of central Texas and a third-generation physician to practice in the area. She trained in dermatology at The University of Texas at Houston where she rotated at MD Anderson, Harris County and Memorial Hermann hospitals and clinics. She then completed an accredited fellowship in dermatopathology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Lester has conducted research in both pediatric and adult dermatology, is the recipient of numerous awards throughout her medical training, and has many publications in the dermatology and dermatopathology professional literature.
