Dr. Li is the best Parkinson doctor I've seen over the last 16 years. Very caring and concerned about progression of disease.

Did not address my symptoms. Did not ask questions. Did not follow up with additional tests after doing one. Told me to take care of my physical and emotional health.

She is a very intelligent and capable doctor. I think my biggest trouble is that I am not as intelligent as she is and she talks very fast with an accent. I try to follow along and have learned much about my epilepsy from her when I could. I felt she genuinely cared when I lost a baby and she took the time to explain the rating system they use for medications that can and cannot be taken during pregnancy. I have seen her several times over the last 3 years or so. She was very kind to my school age daughter who came with me on one of my appointments and explained, in terms my daughter could understand, just what the tests she was doing on me were for and how the brain works -my daughter left there thinking she wanted to be a neurologist like Dr. Li.

This woman caused a problem I didn't have by not listening to how medication she put me on was hurting me - dont see her

Dr. Li did not address ONE of my symptoms - she asked me if I found joy in life - did I really love my husband and children? She suggested that possibly my symptoms were in my head and that I should journal about what brings me joy - I know ONE things - it wasn't her!

Dr. Li basically told me I was a type A person with stress and that I should go home and not worry.I am a medical professional myself and felt belittled and not taken seriously.I was ashmaed to be treated that way.

I was diagnosed with MS and had definitive and visible symptoms. She told me that most people with MS make up symptoms, or think they have a symptom when they really don't. She told me to go sit in a dark room and really think if my symptoms are real or made-up. Deplorable.
