Dr. Laura Mae Pearlman, MD

After my hysterectomy I discovered she had not sutured the incision properly, and everything came apart inside and had to be done over a few weeks later by another surgeon. My back was injured during the second surgery and continues to give me severe pain . If she had done her job properly I wouldn’t have needed the second surgery. I never saw her again.

I felt that she did not care about me as a patient. VERY rude demeanor!! Will NOT be going back to her for checkup. She does not have the same pleasant doctor/patient interaction as Dr. Holt had. She is terrible!!!!

Dr. Pearlman was thorough in studying and discussing my health records with my previous gynecologist who retired. Her relational manner was caring and friendly. She respected my prior knowledge and experience in our exchange. She has earned my trust on the first visit. I would recommend her to friends in search of a gynecologist.

I agree with other reviewers. This doctor does not care about her patients as much as how much money she can get from them. I will never go back to see her again and I would not recommend her to anyone.

First, I must tell you that I have a disability and I'm on Medicare. Dr. Pearlman doesn't like Medicare and so I found out that she tended Not to submit claims so I would pay out of pocket. Next, she would push "having a baby" on me and my husband. When she finally realized what my needs were; her bedside manner declined. She couldn't take "No" for an answer. If you want a baby and are having a difficullt time, Dr. Pearlman is the right OB/GYN for you. If Not, stay clear away from her!!!

Her assistant is rude and is just concerned about leaving the office on time. Do not schedule late in the day appointments or your quality of care will be rushed. Please go else where

dr Pearlman is very hones, caring and highly educated.

Over all I like her she is very pleasant person easy to talk and she,s very careing and spend the time with you and explain the diagnost and what to do or what are your options before making any final decisions if any. She can improuve on follow up if you have a condition that needed's it.

BEWARE!!! I experienced a very painful exam. This doctor shows no care for her patients. She only cares her wallet.I agree with the above person that Dr. Pearlman sets out her mental calculator to figure out how much she can bill you and your insurance. I will never go back to see her again and I would not recommend anyone.

Dr. Pearlman in my experience sets out her mental calculator to figure out how much she can bill your insurance. Lots of double testing. For instance she did not like that another lab did a very invasive pelvic exam using a wand, so she ordered that it be done a second time. Ordered all sorts of blood tests than finally orders a sigmoioscoy. I did not realize at the time Dr Pearlman was well over her depth...she is not a gastroenterologist. Beware of this doctor, just too happy with your insurance card and your body, like it does not matter. I never went back to her. Then her office has the nerve to ask me to sign up as a guinea pig for experimental drugs, etc. Oh, please, stay away from her.
