Dr. Laura Karen Sullivan, MD

She laughed at me when I told her about my back pain, told me that happens when we get older I was 33. I asked for a mri she told me no. I could barely walk, I had to go through the process of changing medical groups and getting a new Dr he immediately ordered a mri and my back is a mess 3 cracked discs he wanted to do surgery right away. This witch costed me a month of laying on my floor crying while I had to change everything she is horrible would not even look me in the eye and I can hear her snotty laugh, laughing at me to this day. She may have the credentials however she is not a people person. When she enters the room she barely if ever makes eye contact, goes right to the computer and speaks to you as she reading. When you ask her questions she makes you feels like your dumb for even asking speaks in a condescending manner. One should feel comfortable to ask anything to a doctor so they can get help but she makes you feel like you can't. She often rolls her eyes. I ask because I have concerns if I knew the answer I would never ask. She makes you feel like you need to do more work than her. She makes you feel like everything if your fault. I do not recommend her at all. I plan on changing my PCP ASAP!!! I understand doctors have many patients but I would see have every 3 months for the past 3 years and she has no idea who I am. Asking the same questions everyone I see her.

Dr. Sullivan may have the credentials to be a physician, but she doesn't possess the qualities that make for a good doctor/patient relationship. I have found her to be without any warmth even when entering the examining room and particularly when interacting with her patients. She appears to be extremely reluctant to touch her patients or provide good comprehensive care, despite what may be found on patient's records. In the three years she was my physician, a complete hands-on examination was never conducted, despite a full physical exam having been scheduled, and her attitude was defensive rather than nurturing or caring. I would not recommend this physician to anyone.
