Dr. Laura Elizabeth Tribuzi, MD

My husband was seen at our local ED for sutures for an eyebrow laceration. While I missed this doctor’s introduction and initial assessment, as an RN myself (previously had worked here in a different dept), I noticed she had awesome bedside manners with patient, she was a good team player and treated her nurse with respect, she was thorough in the treatment ensuring he had enough pain relief throughout the process when she read his body language- tensing, facial grimacing, etc. I never told her I was a nurse. While including family in care is standard, she focused on him 100% of the time. It wasn’t until she was finishing up that she learned I was nurse due to something my husband said. I never like to mention it, as it allows me to see what honest care looks like with no special treatment.
