I appreciate his vast knowledge and understanding of my sons knee injury, decisiveness and thinking outside the box. He's taken the time to explain things to us, thoroughly examine his knee. Explained how to take care of it and the limitations while it heals. *high school football injury. Dislocated and rotated. 2 knee surgeries replaced acl, pcl, mcl and medical meniscus. Thank you so much for taking care of my son!

Office manager is the rudest person.

I saw Dr. Sherman for a knee injury. He said my knee looked fine, though my MRI showed torn cartilage. I was told by two other drs that my injury was significant. He said physical therapy will help. I have already had physical therapy and was told by the therapist that therapy would not help this condition. I certainly do not want to have surgery if it is avoidable, but I felt as if did not listen to me and my concerns. Terrible bedside manner!

This doctor is rude, dismissive, too fast, and has bad outcomes. I went to him for a knee problem and it is so much worse after he operated on me. I'm now trying to go to Kansas City or Saint Louis to get the problem fixed. If you go to him, good luck!

I saw Dr Sherman twice now after a knee injury. Both visits were at the beginning of the day. Staff were attentive and friendly but doctor was rushed and unwilling to answer any questions or show me MRI images to explain my injury. By the way I have ACL, MCL, and meniscus tears. Dr told me to look at results on Muhealthe or request them from medical records and left after a brief 7minute visit to do range of motion assessment, and tell me I did a real number on my knee, do physical therapy, it may be 6 months to heal and walked out but not without mentioning at my AGE who knows (I am 53), I asked 2 other staff members to request if Dr Sherman could come back to show me imaging and explain my injuries. He gave a brief 3 min explanation then stood up and said see you sweetie! Very unprofessional !!!

When I called to make the appointment I asked if I could print my new patient forms from the website. I was told yes and where to find it. When I went to the website I could not find the forms. I called back and the person I spoke to didn't know where they were and told me they would mail them to me. I never received any forms and stil haven't and it's 2 days since my appointment. The girl that checked me in was rude and didn't even acknowledge me for at least 2 minutes. I didn't feel the nurse was overly friendly to me, I was having a bad morning and she just rubbed me the wrong way. When Dr Sherman came in, he was very attentive and listened to everything I told him was going on. I had already been to another orthopaedic doctor who wanted me to go straight to an MRI instead of listening to me, which is why I went to see Dr Sherman. I was so happy that he actually listened to me and what I was describing!!! So, office staff sucks but he's great!!
