When another Surgeon (at Stanford) told me my shattered shoulder would heal Dr. Freehill evaluated and did a total replacement. I now have no pain and much more movement. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Freehill and would absolutely use again if needed.

I am a 70 year old male who is still very active exercising and in sports including golf. Doctor Freehill performed a Total Shoulder replacement on my left shoulder approximately three months ago at the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. Prior to the procedure I estimated that I had about 40-50% range of motion in that shoulder due to advanced osteoarthritis, a partially torn rotator cuff and other anomalies. Dr. Freehill exceeded all expectation in his surgical skill, caring demeanor and followup. I currently have an estimated 80% range of motion in that shoulder and my strength is returning rapidly. I highly recommend Dr. Freehill and the University of Michigan healthcare system.
