Dr. Laurel Claire Blakemore, MD

This doctor wasn’t for us. She entered the exam room disinterested and made us feel like we were wasting her time. She seemed bored while gathering the patient history. She dismissed our concerns and offered little more than chronic pain management for our 15 year old previously very athletic daughter that just wants to return to life as she knows it. I have a medical background and I have doubts about some of what she was saying. Will be seeking a second opinion for sure.

We had high hopes for answers to our daughter’s back and shoulder issues - Dr. Blakemore was not interested in listening or addressing anything other than our daughter not being a candidate for surgery, which we already knew. We really just wanted an educated opinion and way forward, but immediately she dismissed our daughter’s chronic pain and said she could not help. Never again will we set foot inside that hospital…shame on her for providing zero compassion or interest and adding more hopelessnesses to a teenage athlete’s plate . If you’re not a candidate for surgery - don’t waste your time.

Very rude, and was only concerned with how much money we had to pay her with. Also, lied about alot of information, when we asked for records we were referred around and come to find out the opinions of other doctors she said she called and got was never done.

Extremely rude and was more concerned about why we chose another doctor to originally treat our daughter's condition. In addition, the medical advice she gave was completely wrong and was confirmed to be wrong by several other doctors we consulted after.

My husband and I went to see her with our daughter. She was rude and acted iritated that we were there. I felt like we were wasting her time. We will not go back to her.
