While being treated for episcleritis her treatment of myself as a patient was judgmental, rude and rushed. It was my first time being seen for such an eye condition, I have a history of Type 1 diabetes within 4 years. She immediately began with harsh, ignorant and unknowledgable lecture of type 1 diabetes stated "it's not an actual autoimmune disease" and did not leave her opinions at the door, and did not educate or answer any questions regarding my EYE. I left in tears. I had also wanted to avoid steroid use of eye drops due to controlling blood sugar and she told me I had no other choice rather than offering natural home remedies. I will not be going back.

After a sudden itchiness/pain in my right eyebrow, I found my vision in that eye becoming extremely and increasingly cloudy. I worked through it from Wednesday thru Friday, driving and delivering. Friday eve. I called the emergency Cascade Eye # and was referred to Dr. Harris, who was on call. She told me to use saline drops that night. The next day she called me when I was well on the way to my delivery area and had me turn around and go to their clinic. It was Saturday, and nobody was there except her and I. She treated me for shingles on the right half of my head, and in my opinion, she saved my eye. I can't say enough about a Dr. who goes in on her day off to help someone who has no other help...I didn't even know what was wrong with my eye. I give her the highest marks in every way...she made a very scary time not only bearable, but comfortable and positive. She is a solid 5 stars, hands down.
